Dr. Mark Kohout was awarded his MBBS Medical Degree by the University of Sydney in 1985.

He trained in Plastic Surgery at Royal North Shore, Westmead, Concord and Prince of Wales Hospitals in Sydney and the Plastic Surgery and Burns Centre in Nottingham UK – FRCS(UK) and FRCS(Edin) 1996. After completing a Microsurgery Research Project at the University of Melbourne he was awarded a Master of Surgery (MS). He then travelled to Boston, USA, for a MaxilloFacial Surgery Fellowship at Harvard Medical School.

After years of specialty training in the UK, Australia and the United States, Dr. Kohout co-founded his own successful private practice, Australia Plastic Surgery, in the heart of Sydney.

Dr. Kohout’s memberships include the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS), Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (FRACS) He has appeared in popular media and television programs including The Biggest Loser, Ultimate Transformations and Bodyworks.
