Abdominoplasty, commonly known as a tummy tuck, is a surgical procedure designed to alter the appearance of the abdomen. It involves the removal of excess skin and fat from the abdominal area, along with the tightening of the underlying muscles. This procedure is often sought by individuals who have experienced significant weight loss, pregnancy, or ageing, which can lead to excess, loose skin. An abdominoplasty not only addresses the abdominal contour but can also help increase firmness and alter appearance.
Individual results vary due to personal health factors and genetics, and all surgical procedures carry inherent risks that should be discussed with a qualified health professional.

Recovery from Abdominoplasty typically involves a few key stages.
Abdominoplasty / tummy tuck surgery, carries several risks, including infection at the incision site, which may require antibiotics; prominent scarring, despite efforts to reduce visibility; and the potential for blood clots forming in the legs or lungs. Anaesthesia complications, although rare, can occur, as can fluid accumulation beneath the skin (seroma), which may need drainage.
The cost of abdominoplasty varies based on factors such as the surgeon’s fee, facility charges, and anaesthesia costs. Additional expenses, including pre-operative consultations, post-operative care, and necessary medications, can also influence the overall price. Many clinics offer financing options to help make the procedure more affordable. For an accurate estimate and to discuss payment solutions, please contact the clinic directly.
